I completely agree with everything you said in this blog and for the most part said the same thing on my Week 6 TOW. I think the most important thing is relevence. If it doesn’t appeal to people then I don’t think the story is newsworthy at all. In order for people to be affected by the story, the PR professional needs to make sure that it involves that person on a personal level or they most likely won’t care at all. I also agree with the last statement you made about conflict. People love to read about conflict whether they say they do or don’t. Look at Tiger Woods. His cheating has no affect on whether he can play golf or not but eveyone is more concerned with his personal life!
